The client brief gives us the responsibilities and requirements, and I’ll use your updated Associate Director title, £95,000–£100,000 salary and 30% bonus. The source also confirms London and four days per week in the office. I’ve excluded the vague “competitive package” rather than inventing benefits.

Complex development finance transactions | 30% bonus | Credit Committee exposure | Clear route into senior credit leadership

If you’re an experienced development finance professional looking for greater influence over transactions and credit decisions, this Associate Director role offers the opportunity to lead the structuring and underwriting of UK development loans from £10m to £75m.

You’ll have autonomy across the deal lifecycle, alongside exposure to Credit Committee, credit policy and junior team development. With the lending platform continuing to grow, there is scope to build towards broader credit leadership responsibilities.

Package & Benefits
• £95,000–£100,000 per annum.
• 30% bonus.
• London based, with four days per week in the office.

About the Company
You’ll join an established, institutionally backed real estate lender providing development, senior and bridging finance. The business operates across the UK and Europe, with a substantial track record of funding real estate transactions.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead the structuring, underwriting and execution of UK real estate development finance transactions from £10m to £75m.
• Produce financial modelling, credit analysis and investment papers, presenting recommendations to Credit Committee.
• Work with borrowers, advisers and internal stakeholders throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Contribute to credit policy, portfolio monitoring and the development of junior team members.

About You
• 5–8+ years’ experience across real estate development finance, private credit or investment banking.
• Strong structuring and underwriting experience across UK development finance transactions.
• Advanced financial modelling and credit analysis experience, with a strong understanding of UK real estate development risk.

If you’re considering your next move in development finance and would value a confidential conversation before deciding whether to apply, we’d be happy to talk through the role. Contact Fintelligent for more information or a confidential discussion.
